"The Children’s Character Festival offers an important and inclusive addition to learning. Helping our children to develop kindness, respect, perseverance, and other values from a young age does not only build character, but also fosters the next generation of empathetic and responsible citizens. By sharing true stories, children are able to express themselves through their own experiences while gaining the confidence to present them to a supportive audience.
I encourage children to join the Children’s Character Festival and wish all participants the joy of creating their true tales, and every success in presenting them."

Create your own true story based on acts of kindness. You can draw it, write about it, or create it in any way you wish.
We’d then love to hear you present it at the Children’s Character Festival, where you can share your experience in front of an audience and receive comments from an adjudicator about your story and how you tell it.
